For over 100 years, the Spears family has cultivated the rich soils of Adams County, Wisconsin. What started as a humble farming operation on County Road E has blossomed into Wisconsin's only 37-acre asparagus farm.
Our farming story began with great-great-grandparents who understood that the land in central Wisconsin was special. The combination of fertile soil, proper drainage, and a climate perfect for asparagus cultivation made this region ideal for growing premium produce.
Each generation has contributed something valuable to our farming operation. Grandparents learned the intricacies of asparagus cultivation. Parents expanded the operation and invested in quality. Today, the 5th generation carries forward traditions of hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
