What's the difference between white and green asparagus?

How do I store fresh asparagus?

Fresh asparagus is best stored upright in a container with about an inch of water in the refrigerator, like a bouquet of flowers. Cover loosely with a plastic bag. This keeps the spears fresh and crisp for 3-5 days. For best flavor, enjoy them as soon as possible!

Can I freeze fresh asparagus?

Yes! Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, immediately transfer to ice water, drain well, and freeze in airtight containers or freezer bags. Properly frozen asparagus can last 8-12 months and is great for soups, casseroles, and stir-fries.

How long do your pickled products last?
